  • You’ll have to create a clip by choosing the passage of audio you want from the file, save it as a new file (wav, mp3 or whatever) and send that new clip to your phone.

Audacity, from is a free, open-source audio editor which can achieve just this (and many more things), give that a go. :)

  • You need to use a programme such as Nero or WaveEditor to highlight just the part of the song that you want to use and save this part as a separate file, then you can send just this bit to your phone.

Crop the song 1st so its just the bit you want as a ringtone, then do it

  • very cool , but i use create-ringtone.com to make and send ringtones, wallpapers, mp3 tracks and video files for FREE – it works for all cell phones (incluiding the iPhone) and for all mobile carriers all around the world – check it out here – http://www.adheadz.com/live/invite/a/

  • Any sort of program for editing wav files like wave edit will do the job. Just highlight the part of the song you want and delete the rest. Then resave the small part as a seperate file and copy this to your phone via blue tooth or via a usb lead.

    Good luck.
