I’m not too familiar with that model, but I’ve come across a similar problem in PDAs with built in receivers. As the receivers are huge power hogs, they are as default powered off. If you go to the Settings and check the connections, there should be a GPS option, select it and you should get an on/off button. Once you’ve powered up the receiver, the software should be able to detect it.
